Is the electronic signature legally valid?
Yes, 100%. HeyDevis uses a process compliant with the European eIDAS regulation (level 1). Every signature is sealed with a cryptographic UTC timestamp, IP address traceability, and legal proof recording in case of a dispute.
Can I use HeyDevis without activating deposit payment via Stripe / Bancontact?
Yes, Stripe is entirely optional. If you don't activate it, your prospects sign their proposal normally and receive your bank details to make a standard bank transfer. Online deposit collection (card / Bancontact) is part of the Pro plan; on Starter, your clients pay by bank transfer to the IBAN shown on the quote.
Where does the money go when a client pays their deposit online via Stripe?
The money arrives directly in your secure Stripe account, then is automatically transferred to your bank account at the frequency you choose (e.g. daily or weekly).
How do automatic email reminders work?
As soon as a proposal is sent, HeyDevis monitors its status. If the prospect doesn't respond, the system sends scheduled, customizable reminders. As soon as the quote is signed or paid, reminders stop immediately.
